MUSLIM YOUTH SKILLS YOUTH AWARD

IF is proud to announce it is working in partnership with Muslim Youth Skills to launch a pilot ‘Volunteer Award’ programme. 

This programme recognises the achievements of volunteers at the BIG Read.   

Who is eligible?

Anyone between the ages of 16 to 25.  

How Does The Programme Work?

Each volunteer will agree with the Organiser a personal goal for a minimum of 10 hours.  Upon successful completion, the volunteer will receive a certificate. 
 

What are examples of goals?

• To develop self confidence
• To work as part of a team
• To improve interpersonal skills

Why should I take part?

• Meet new people
• Make new friends
• Learn valuable, transferable skills
• Setting and achieving personal goals
