How much money do I have to raise?
We are asking each participant to raise a minimum of £100 each but we hope that some of you may want to set your own personal target and aim for a lot higher.

How far do I have to run?
Each participant will have to run 100 metres.

What if I don’t run in 20 seconds or less?
The 20 seconds is a guideline to indicate the challenging nature of the World Record Run.  However, we will not exclude anyone if they cannot keep to this time.  In fact if we are going for the 12 hour record, time will not play such a significant role as we will be setting a new world record.

What time will I run?
When you registered you indicated the hour you would like to participate.  We can accommodate approximately 180 runners per hour.  Once we reach this figure, you will be asked to choose another time slot.  For registration purposes you will need to arrive at least 2 hours before your chosen time slot.

Who can participate in the event?
The event is open to both male and female participants.  For those participants that would like to run in a male or female only session, the following time slots are available; women from 5-7pm and men from 9pm to 11pm on Saturday 23rd May.  This is on a first-come-first-serve basis when you initially register.

Can I run twice?
Unfortunately due to the regulations set by the Guinness World Records each participant can only run once.

What if I drop the baton?
Don’t worry if you drop the baton whilst running, just pick it up from the point you dropped it and continue running - as long as you still run 100 metres you won’t be disqualified!

What else do I need to be aware of regarding the actual run?
The Guinness World Records have provided IF with specific guidelines we need to adhere to for the run which can’t all be listed here, therefore kindly check our website for updates and further information.

What do I need to wear?
Since the stadium is open air, and you may be waiting to register or queuing to run 100 metres, we advise you wear warm, but comfortable and waterproof clothing.

How can you ensure male participants will not be present in the stadium during the female only sessions?
We will be hosting a special Gaza 100: Twilight Cup football tournament to kick off from 5pm in the neighbouring football pitches and we hope this will entice the male participants away from the stadium for these two hours. Though this does not guarantee the stadium will be a completely male-free zone during these times.

Can my family still attend even if they aren’t participating in the run?
Yes, this is a family event and we would like all friends and family to attend to show support and to encourage all participants.

Who do I see on arrival?
When you arrive at Mile End Stadium you will need to register at the Registration Desk.  You will then be dispatched to one of the two stations where your run will commence.

How do I get to the stadium?
Mile End stadium is located in Rhodeswell Road, Poplar, London, E14 7TW.  The nearest tube station is Mile End served by the District and Central lines.  When you exit from the station turn left. Mile End stadium is located behind Mile End Leisure Centre.

Are there parking facilities at the stadium?
There will be no access to the Mile End stadium car park however parking is available in and around the vicinity.

Can I bring my sponsorship form and money to the stadium and hand it in to your staff?
Due to safety and security reasons we do not want any money to be brought to the stadium.

When do I have to pay in my sponsorship money?
We request that all sponsorship money is sent to us after the event by Friday 12th June 2009

What do I do with the money once it has all been collected?
As soon as you have collected all the sponsorship money, either write us a cheque for the whole amount, made payable to IF, or deposit the money into the IF bank account, quoting your full name and unique ID number.

Bank Name: HSBC
Account Name: IF
Account No: 01506080
Sort Code: 40-28-08

Don’t forget to post your sponsorship form(s), paying-in form and bank paying-in slips to us at 215 Crown House, North Circular Road, Park Royal, London NW10 7PN.
