GAZA 100 – World Record Run
Planning for the Day!
What training do I need to do?
Since its just 100 metres, we don’t expect participants to endure hours or days of training. However, we would encourage you and a friend to practise running 100 metres carrying a baton. Why not time yourselves to see how quick you can run 100 metres and set your own personal target?
What do I need to wear?
- Trainers
- Your IF t-shirt (to be issued at registration)
- Warm, waterproof but comfortable clothing
What should I bring with me?
- Your unique ID number issued when you initially registered for the run
- A print out of your confirmation email from IF
- A drink and a packed lunch
- A camera to take memorable pictures of this Guinness World Record attempt
- Mobile phone – fully charged so we can contact you if need be
Who do I see on arrival?
When you arrive at Mile End Stadium you will need to register at the Registration Desk. You will then be dispatched to one of the four stations where your run will commence.
What happens when I finish my 100 metre run?
A steward will direct you off the track towards the Registration Desk where you will need to sign the Log-sheet confirming you completed your 100 metre run. We hope you stay behind to support other friends and family that may be participating in the event. |
