Setting up your free online fundraising page using Justgiving

Fundraising pages are just like paper sponsorship forms, except they’re online, so you don’t have to worry about dealing with cash, cheques and chasing sponsors post-event.  Online donations from UK taxpayers are worth almost a third more to us with Gift Aid, so you do less but IF gets more.

By creating your own sponsorship page you can:-

• Personalise your page with a photo and message
• Email the web address to all your family, friends and contacts letting them know you’re taking part in this World Record attempt
• Watch your total grow on screen
• Update your target amount as and when you like

Friends, family, work colleagues and anyone else, from anywhere in the world, can then make a donation using your page.  Not only can they donate quickly and securely using a debit or credit card but can also send you a message of support. 

So set up your page now and make the most of the internet!  If you have a face book account you can post a link on your status too. 

To create your page visit www.justgiving.com/if/raisemoney

• Click on Create Your Page.
• Select the event you’re taking part in, then follow the simple step-by-step instructions to personalise your page.
• Please ensure you sign up to Justgiving using the same postal address as you registered when signing up for the Gaza 100: World Record Run.
• If you are setting up a page for someone else, please enter their details in the ‘Your Details’ section, not your own (without the correct details we are unable to ensure the money is attributed to the correct person).
